Dr. Phillip C. Penny’s interest in orthopedics started while watching his father undergo multiple orthopedic procedures that eventually allowed him to return to work and support his family in the field of construction. Dr. Penny’s own experience in construction provided him with a solid foundation of hand-on skills that translated directly into surgical skills.
Whether it’s a surgical or nonsurgical approach, Dr. Penny treats the whole patient, not just a single body part. He allows each patient to tailor their treatment plan according to their personal or family needs. The most rewarding aspect of his job is restoring a quality of life that allows patients to get back to the activities that they enjoy most.
Outside of work, Dr. Penny’s focus is on his wife, son and daughter. They enjoy traveling, cycling, and spending time with their extended family.
