Clinical Informatics Specialist

The Clinical Informatics Specialist will provide education and support to our Providers and clinical staff in utilizing the electronic health record (EHR), associated clinical applications and integrated technologies. Knowledge of healthcare information systems, EHR platforms and clinic workflows are needed to collaborate with Providers, I/T, staff and vendors in troubleshooting issues, assessing change requests, supporting implementations and optimizing system capabilities. Degree in a clinical, health informatics or information technology discipline required. Two years of experience in a clinical role and/or I/T experience supporting EHR technology preferred. Abilities to communicate effectively, problem-solve and follow through on tasks to completion are essential. Full-time, Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional weekend or evening hours for special projects.

Diagnostic Test Scheduler

Join our diagnostic scheduling team to assist patients in scheduling diagnostic exams ordered by their Provider. Position will interact with other medical facilities to determine available schedule options and obtain relevant screening information from patients prior to their testing or imaging. Strong communication talents are needed to ensure a smooth process and timely updates to patients. Previous clinical or medical office experience desired. Part-time, 3 days per week, 8a-5p.

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (OrthoStat)

Our thriving OrthoStat clinic is ready to welcome another Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide clinical care and outstanding customer service to office patients as part of our urgent care walk-in team. Full-time, typically 3 weekdays per week (clinic hours are 7a to 7p) plus a rotating Saturday (currently every 6th week). No call required. Position will assist in covering all Orthostat locations and will cross-train to provide backup for daytime trauma coverage in the hospital. Must be currently licensed as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Advanced Practice Nurse) in the State of Indiana and possess strong communication skills. Previous orthopedic experience beneficial.

Health Information Specialist

This opportunity is for a detailed individual to perform processes specific to patient records. Duties include scanning & indexing incoming documents, processing release of information (ROI) requests, completion of FMLA & disability forms, transferring completed dictations into the electronic health record, editing transcribed documents for accuracy and occasionally typing internal dictations. Experience with medical records and/or ROI requests preferred. Knowledge in medical terminology beneficial. Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Clinical Assistant (OrthoStat) (CMA, CCMA, RMA or ATC) based in Fort Wayne

Join our patient care team in providing support to Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in our walk-in clinic. Duties include patient intake, assessment, suture/staple removal, post-op care, assisting with injections or small office procedures, diagnostic scheduling, EHR documentation, room turnover, and monitoring supplies. Many learning and growth opportunities! Position is based in Fort Wayne, but may cover at other locations as needed. Clinical certification/licensure desired; Medical Assistant or Athletic Trainer preferred. Full-time, three days per week 7am to 7p/clinic close. Will rotate to cover Saturday hours at our main office or Dupont clinic every six weeks.

Clinical Support Specialist

This position supports our clinical team by processing specialty medication injections prescribed by our Providers. Duties include verifying patient benefits, obtaining prior authorizations from insurance, requisitioning medications, patient communications and scheduling injection appointments. Position is based at our W. Jefferson office. Prior authorization experience preferred, clinical background beneficial. Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Orthopedic Surgeon (Sports Med or Generalist)

We are seeking a BC/BE sports medicine or generalist orthopedic surgeon to serve a well-established orthopedic service line in a professional service agreement with Cameron Memorial Hospital in Angola IN. Clinic is connected to the hospital. Call rotation is currently 1:4. Dedicated APP and support team in addition to collaboration with our clinic of subspecialists in hand, spine, foot & ankle and total joints. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Dr. Shugart)

Dr. Shugart (fellowship-trained Spine specialist) has an opportunity for a full-time PA or NP to assist in supporting his established practice. This position will provide a combination of independent office/clinic care, support pre and post-operative care at the hospital, assist in the O.R. and assess inpatients during rounds. This opportunity is based in Fort Wayne. Schedule is primarily Monday thru Friday with occasional weekend rounding. Must be currently licensed or eligible to obtain licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (Advanced Practice Nurse) or Physician Assistant in the State of Indiana.
